Hall County Parks Department:
The Hall County Park will begin the camping season on Monday April 13th. New for this year’s camping is a SELF-REGISTRATION PROCESS. Campers will be required to pick up the registration envelopes at the “drop box” area fill out the envelope, tear off the flap and post it at their respective sites and put cash or checks only in the envelope and deposit it in the drop box. Instructions are on the envelope and the drop box is located near pads #8 and #14 which is in the center of the camping area. If you have a tent you will be required to make payment in the same drop box and pick up the envelopes in the same location. Also there will be a “camp host” present to assist you in this process.
Also new this year are “coin-operated showers”. There will no longer be showers available in the playground area restrooms. The only showers will be in the camping area and those will be coin operated and will take quarters only.
Park hours will remain the same (7:00 A.M. to 8:30 P.M.) until October when the park will close for the winter with the gates closing at that time and patrons will be required to leave.
Shelters reservations will be taken at the Building and Grounds office at 114 South Sycamore Street. The office can be reached at 308-385-5049.
Camping rates are as follows:
- Campers on Pads: $20.00 per night
- Tent Campers/Primitive camping: $15.00 per night
- Use of Dump Station if not camping: $20.00
- #1 Green Shelter: $25.00 per day
- #2 Red Shelter: $25.00 per day
- #3 Green Shelter: $15.00 per day
- Showers: 50 cents for 3 minutes, 75 cents for 4 ½ minutes, $1.25 for 7 ½ minutes. A total of 15 quarters at one time can be used.
Hall County Corrections Department:
On-Site Visitation Schedule
The Hall County Department of Corrections will no longer be offering on-site visitation on Mondays. To visit an inmate on-site you must register at least 24 hours in advance at the facility or online at securustech.net. The new On-site visit schedule will be Tuesday – Friday 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. You may schedule unlimited off-site internet based video visit by visiting securustech.net. Off-site visits will be subject to a small fee and can be scheduled with no waiting period with prior site approval. Off-site visits will continue Monday – Sunday 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Hall County Treasurer's Office:
You can now pay your Real Estate taxes, Personal Property taxes and Motor Vehicle Renewals online with your credit card. There is a convenience fee added to the payment by the payment processor (PointAndPay), full details are available at the payment link below:
