Job Opening: Director of Corrections

Hall County, Nebraska is seeking a professional individual to be the Director of Corrections for a modern, 320 bed facility opened in 2008. The Corrections Director will answer to the Hall County Board of Corrections which is composed of the seven Hall County Board Supervisors.

The director is engaged in all levels of correctional operations, administration, training, finance, and planning. This includes care, custody and control, food service, facilities operation, internal affairs, professional compliance and accreditation. The director will negotiate agreements to house prisoners from other counties as well state and federal detainees.

On-Site Visitation Schedule

The Hall County Department of Corrections will no longer be offering on-site visitation on Mondays. To visit an inmate on-site you must register at least 24 hours in advance at the facility or online at The new On-site visit schedule will be Tuesday – Friday 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. You may schedule unlimited off-site internet based video visit by visiting Off-site visits will be subject to a small fee and can be scheduled with no waiting period with prior site approval. Off-site visits will continue Monday – Sunday 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
